Alumni Open Studio Dag 2011
Op zaterdag 21 mei vond de eerste Rietveld Alumni Open Studio Dag plaats, georganiseerd door Public Rietveld.
Studenten werden uitgenodigd om 10 studio's te bezoeken van Rietveld alumni en docenten met uiteenlopende artistieke beroepspraktijken, Zodat ze een idee konden krijgen van hoe het leven er na de academie uit zou kunnen zien.

On Saturday the 21st of May the first Rietveld Alumni Open Studio Day took place, organised by Public Rietveld.
Students were invited to visit 10 studio's of Rietveld alumni and teachers working in different artistic professions, so they could get an impression of what life after the academy could be like.

Lucy Sarneel has a studio in a former hospital close to the Vondelpark, now occupied by artists and designers.
Mirte Slaats, Mariska Kok and Aline Weyel share an 'Anti-kraak' building in West. It used to be a jehova's church.
Phil Baber shares a studio space with 6 graphic designers and writers at an attic at the Oudeschans.
Jonas Lund and Simon Wald-Lasowsky share a studio space at the Volkskrantbuilding.
Erik Mattijssen has a temporary studio in an old school close to the Westerpark while his own studio is being renovated.
Berm Collective, an artist collective by Marieke Zwart and Lotte Nijhof is situated in a ground floor appartment in West.
